What to include with your application

  1. Resume (PDF preferred). At least the last 5 years of NYC project history.
  2. Credential numbers for every active license/certification:
  • NYC DOB Site Safety Manager license #
  • NYC DOB Site Safety Coordinator license #
  • NYC DOB Concrete Safety Manager certification #
  • FDNY Certificate of Fitness numbers (F-89, F-58, F-60, etc.)
  • NYC SST card type and total hours (40 worker / 62 supervisor / 100 hour)
  • OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 wallet card date
  • Any other relevant: ACI, AHERA, EPA RRP, USACE, etc.
  1. Boroughs you prefer to work, plus any you'd rather not
  2. Shift preference: day, evening, overnight, weekend availability
  3. A short note (3-5 sentences): what kind of work do you want next? Specific industries? Project sizes? Anything we should know.

Optional but appreciated: 2 references from prior NYC construction supervisors who can speak to your field performance.

How to apply

Privacy

Your resume and credential information are kept in our internal hiring system. We don't share them with clients, recruiters, or third parties without your permission. If you ask us to delete your application, we delete it within 7 days.

FAQ

Can I apply if my license is currently inactive or expired?

Yes, but we can't place you on a project until it's reinstated. We sometimes hire people during reinstatement and assign them to OSHA-30 work in the meantime.

Do you sponsor visas?

At this time we hire only candidates with U.S. work authorization.

What if you have no openings that match me right now?

We keep credentialed candidates on file and reach out as projects open. Most "no match today" applicants get placed within 90 days.

Can I apply for multiple roles at once?

Yes. List every credential you hold, and we'll consider you for any role where they apply.

How do I follow up after submitting?

If you haven't heard back in 5 business days, email Info@ssm.nyc with the subject line "Following up: [Your Name]" and your application date. We respond within 24 hours.
